What's this?
A 'News Ticker' that
is very easy to use, with few requirements, and runs on all platforms.
How:
Just click the above link to get a small, though easy
to read, pop-up window, that you can tuck at the bottom of your screen to
see the latest
headlines
from DU, BBC, BUZZFLASH, GOOGLE-
with more to be added all the time - that are all
clickable to the original source and updated every 5 minutes .
Why:
Serving up headlines from the BEST information sites on the www - thank gore
;-> - is the best way I know how to satisfy not only my own craving for
variety and sanity in my sources while trying to get information during these
troubled times but to also help, in my own, small way to 'pass the word' -
not to mention I should be able to handle just 1 web page, while busy building
the 'pyramids' ;-)
we are goin with the KISS theory in design and not just because we don't have
any designers.. or no budget... but it works =) think google, yahoo,
etc. ya know... the BIGGIES.

which we all know is now required due to the dismal state of the 'mainstream'
