Update: Schwarzenegger's Nazi ties
Sex, Lies and Hitlerotape (By Ewing2001)
Forget for a moment that Arnold Schwarzenegger has pretty much gotten a free ride from the mainstream and scandal-sheet media, which have largely refused to investigate numerous reports of the Terminator cheating on his wife in recent years and even sexually assaulting women.
Forget that if Schwarzenegger was running as a Democrat, you wouldn't see all of the national and Californian Republican hypocrites genuflecting before him as if he was a god - they'd be labeling him a liar and cheater and worse names.
If you don't care about how Schwarzenegger cheated on his wife and lied about it many more times than President Clinton, consider the following lies made by Schwarzenegger:
It's clear that Schwarzenegger is just another lying, hypocritical Republican. It's clear that Republicans are on the verge of stealing yet another election.
Gov. Gray Davis may not be as competent as some people like and is a convenient scapegoat for those mad about amazingly-high utility bills, which are mostly caused by greedy private companies, not to mention Wilson’s deregulation law. But Davis did receive more than 50 percent of the vote last year.
Schwarzenegger could get in the governor's mansion with 20 percent or even less. Californians will not see their utility bills substantially change under Schwarzenegger and will see crime, pollution [he has said he would dismantle the state environmental protection agency], political scandals, Hollywood buffoonery, and lies escalate.
Don't let Republicans steal another election. If you live in California, vote no on the recall. If you don't, forward this to someone who does and urge them to vote no on the recall.
And if Schwarzenegger does win on Oct. 7, go to http://www.ca-dem.org/contact_us.php and urge the California State Democratic Party to IMMEDIATELY launch a recall campaign of Schwarzenegger. More than 800 people have signed an online petition I started to do just that at http://www.petitiononline.com/schwarze/petition.ht ml, but I could now write a much better one. Besides, I don't live in California, and this effort needs to be done by Californians. But my petition can be a starting point.
Republicans stole the White House in 2000 and stole Congressional seats in Colorado this year. They are on the verge of pilfering more Congressional seats in Texas, where a weak Democratic link named John Whitmire broke a lengthy boycott in New Mexico and went home. And Republicans are on the verge of stealing the governorship of the most populous state in the country.
More Democratic politicians and state leaders have to find their backbones and employ the same tactics that Republicans leaders are using to steal elections. They must work to recall Republican governors in states that allow that and redistrict Congressional districts to get more Democrats elected to Congress. These efforts must be supported by the Democratic politicians and state leaders, not just grassroots activists, in order to be most effective. Even if such recall and redistricting efforts fail, they will bring new voters into the party and energize many Democratic activists, who are clamoring for someone besides Howard Dean and Al Franken and a few others to fight back.
Democratic leaders must put these Republican tactics back in their faces. That's the only way to stand up to these bullies.
Anything less, and we all might as well move to Canada. Because if Schwarzenegger takes California and Democratic leaders take only symbolic, ineffective reactions, it becomes that much harder to oust Bush in 2004.

When i first posted something about Schwarzenegger, i put it into the feature section.
Also, while everyone started to talk about his secret sex scandals, the real smoking guns seemed to me his connections with Bechtel, Buffet and Enron.
But as always, sex counts more for the tabloids.
This should change.
However, if we tolerate these kind of stories, "Case Prescott Bush" has never a chance to become mainstream either.
A few lines about "something", which doesn't surprise, then more about the "rest":
NY Post -October 3
Total recall candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger apologized yesterday and admitted he had behaved badly with women - after a bombshell report about his Grope-inator past. In his mea culpa at a San Diego rally to kick off a four-day statewide bus tour, the actor vowed he would be a "champion of women" if elected governor on Tuesday.
Schwarzenegger: "I admire Hitler"
ABC News -October 2
ABCNEWS obtained a copy of an unpublished book proposal with quotes from a verbatim transcript of an interview Schwarzenegger gave in 1975 while making the film Pumping Iron. Asked who his heroes are, he answered, "I admired Hitler, for instance, because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education, up to power. I admire him for being such a good public speaker and for what he did with it."
He is quoted as saying he wished he could have an experience "like Hitler in the Nuremberg stadium. And have all those people scream at you and just being total agreement whatever you say."
Nazi past of Arnie's father
"A document found in Austrian archives by The Los Angeles Times shows that Gustav Schwarzenegger joined the Sturmabteilungen (the SA) "storm troops" on May 1, 1939, about six months after the Brownshirts ransacked Jewish homes, businesses and synagogues across Germany and Austria on Kristallnacht.
At the time, Austrian men had to apply to join the Brownshirts, unlike the German army, into which they were drafted after the country's annexation by Germany in 1938.
The Simon Wiesenthal Centre in LA, which hunts Nazi war criminals, found that Gustav Schwarzenegger voluntarily applied for membership of the Nazi party in 1938."
Schwarzenegger-Waldheim ties
Slate -August 7, 2003
Kurt Waldheim, a widely esteemed former secretary general of the United Nations, was running for president of Austria in March 1986 when it came to light that he had participated in Nazi atrocities during World War II. Waldheim had always maintained that he had served in the Wehrmacht only briefly and that after being wounded early in the war, he had returned to Vienna to attend law school. In fact, Waldheim had resumed military service after recuperating from his injury and had been an intelligence officer in Germany's Army Group E when it committed mass murder in the Kozara region of western Bosnia. (Waldheim's name appears on the Wehrmacht's "honor list" of those responsible for the atrocity.) In 1944, Waldheim had reviewed and approved a packet of anti-Semitic propaganda leaflets to be dropped behind Russian lines, one of which ended, "enough of the Jewish war, kill the Jews, come over." After the war, Waldheim was wanted for war crimes by the War Crimes Commission of the United Nations, the very organization he would later head. None of these revelations prevented Waldheim from winning the Austrian election, but after he became president, the U.S. Justice Department put Waldheim on its watch list denying entry to "any foreign national who assisted or otherwise participated in activities amounting to persecution during World War II." The international community largely shunned Waldheim, and he didn't run for re-election. (This information comes from the1992 book Betrayal: The Untold Story of the Kurt Waldheim Investigation and Cover-Up, by Eli M. Rosenbaum and William Hoffer.)
One month after these revelations began to splash across the front pages of newspapers worldwide, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver held their wedding reception* at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, Mass. Schwarzenegger, a native of Austria, had invited Waldheim to the wedding, which of course can't be held against him because the invitations surely went out well before the war crimes story broke.
Schwarzenegger disputes alleged Hitler admiration quote
CNN -Friday, October 3, 2003
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Disputing media reports of a book proposal transcript from the 1970s that paints a picture of a young Arnold Schwarzenegger as an admirer of Adolf Hitler, the California gubernatorial candidate Thursday said he doesn't remember making the alleged comments and has always despised the Nazi leader.
"I hated the regime -- hate the regime, the Third Reich, the whole Nazi philosophy -- have always fought against it," Schwarzenegger said at an hastily called news conference late Thursday.
Note: In a first statement about the Nazi quotes, Schwarzenegger told ABCNEWS, "I cannot remember any of these...All I can tell you is that I despise everything Hitler stood for."

Arnold Unplugged - It's hasta la vista to $9 billion if the Governator is selected
Greg Palast -Friday, October 3, 2003
It's not what Arnold Schwarzenegger did to the girls a decade back that should raise an eyebrow. According to a series of memoranda our office obtained today, it's his dalliance with the boys in a hotel room just two years ago that's the real scandal.
The wannabe governor has yet to deny that on May 17, 2001, at the Peninsula Hotel in Los Angeles, he had consensual political intercourse with Enron chieftain Kenneth Lay. Also frolicking with Arnold and Ken was convicted stock swindler Mike Milken.
Now, thirty-four pages of internal Enron memoranda have just come through this reporter's fax machine tell all about the tryst between Maria's husband and the corporate con men. It turns out that Schwarzenegger knowingly joined the hush-hush encounter as part of a campaign to sabotage a Davis-Bustamante plan to make Enron and other power pirates then ravaging California pay back the $9 billion in illicit profits they carried off.
Here's the story Arnold doesn't want you to hear. The biggest single threat to Ken Lay and the electricity lords is a private lawsuit filed last year under California's unique Civil Code provision 17200, the "Unfair Business Practices Act." This litigation, heading to trial now in Los Angeles, would make the power companies return the $9 billion they filched from California electricity and gas customers.
It takes real cojones to bring such a suit. Who's the plaintiff taking on the bad guys? Cruz Bustamante, Lieutenant Governor and reluctant leading candidate against Schwarzenegger.
Now follow the action. One month after Cruz brings suit, Enron's Lay calls an emergency secret meeting in L.A. of his political buck-buddies, including Arnold. Their plan, to undercut Davis (according to Enron memos) and "solve" the energy crisis -- that is, make the Bustamante legal threat go away.
How can that be done? Follow the trail with me.
While Bustamante's kicking Enron butt in court, the Davis Administration is simultaneously demanding that George Bush's energy regulators order the $9 billion refund. Don't hold your breath: Bush's Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is headed by a guy proposed by Ken Lay.
But Bush's boys on the commission have a problem. The evidence against the electricity barons is rock solid: fraudulent reporting of sales transactions, megawatt "laundering," fake power delivery scheduling and straight out conspiracy (including meetings in hotel rooms).
So the Bush commissioners cook up a terrific scheme: charge the companies with conspiracy but offer them, behind closed doors, deals in which they have to pay only two cents on each dollar they filched.
Problem: the slap-on-the-wrist refunds won't sail if the Governor of California won't play along. Solution: Re-call the Governor.
New Problem: the guy most likely to replace Davis is not Mr. Musclehead, but Cruz Bustamante, even a bigger threat to the power companies than Davis. Solution: smear Cruz because -- heaven forbid! -- he took donations from Injuns (instead of Ken Lay).
The pay-off? Once Arnold is Governor, he blesses the sweetheart settlements with the power companies. When that happens, Bustamante's court cases are probably lost. There aren't many judges who will let a case go to trial to protect a state if that a governor has already allowed the matter to be "settled" by a regulatory agency.
So think about this. The state of California is in the hole by $8 billion for the coming year. That's chump change next to the $8 TRILLION in deficits and surplus losses planned and incurred by George Bush. Nevertheless, the $8 billion deficit is the hanging rope California's right wing is using to lynch Governor Davis.
Yet only Davis and Bustamante are taking direct against to get back the $9 billion that was vacuumed out of the state by Enron, Reliant, Dynegy, Williams Company and the other Texas bandits who squeezed the state by the bulbs.
But if Arnold is selected, it's 'hasta la vista' to the $9 billion. When the electricity emperors whistle, Arnold comes -- to the Peninsula Hotel or the Governor's mansion. The he-man turns pussycat and curls up in their lap.
I asked Mr. Muscle's PR people to comment on the new Enron memos -- and his strange silence on Bustamante's suit or Davis' petition. But Arnold was too busy shaving off his Hitlerian mustache to respond.
The Enron memos were discovered by the Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights, Los Angeles,

It was too obvious, that "Governator" should become Distraction of the month. I didn't want to support this "script".
Obviously it still doesn't matter, if someone has countless ties with Nazis.
Washington is fascist enough, so
let's skip his sex scandals.
It's his brown past, which counts.
