Republicans Gather in Texas to Celebrate Enrongate and Floridagate

The Republican National Committee is meeting in Austin, and there are Enron connections everywhere! The host is Gov. Rick Perry, who appointed an Enron executive from Mexico to run Texas's energy commission... the new RNC chair will be Marc Racicot, Enron's top lobbyist... and Karl "Goehring" Rove is giving a speech, no doubt to brag about selling $250,000 worth of Enron stock just before it tanked. But just because Enrongate is in the headlines, that does not mean Floridagate has been forgotten. As an extra bonus, Florida's Katherine Harris will be there to help Tom "Adolph" DeLay steal a few Congressional seats in the next election!
