1. Is it free to be a member? Yes. We are a not for profit group, dedicated to providing news and information for people interested in the issues, and events of today, pertaining to democracy and freedom. 2. How do I become a member? Simply fill in the form here. We will not share, trade or sell your personal information with any third parties. 3. How can I become an author? Simply send us an email with you request. editor@globalfreepress.com 4. Do you share user information with anyone else? Absolutely NOT. 5. Can I customize the news here? Yes, you can. Simply click on 'customize' link ( top left ). This will alow you to choose from more news sources, or to turn off the boxes on the right side of the screen. You will also be able to select which types of stories you are interested in and from which authors you prefer to read on the front page. The block which appears in bold text are the default blocks which apear when you first sign up. 6. How often do you update the site? Well, I try to update it daily. However this is community driven also which means you can also submit a story. This hopefully in time allow the site to be constantly updated throught out the day every day. This is a news paper that truely relies on it's readership for its content and its timelyness. 7. Do you work for any canidate or corporation? No. I am a private netizin, who was, and still am tired of going to the tv, the radio or print CRAVING NEWS and getting nuttin but shark attacks, vrwc loud mouths, or fluff. not to mention the incessant bkg and fkg track playing since 911 'Terror-Terror-Terror' 'Journalism' has changed dramaticly over my 37 year to an over whelmingly pro-corporate agenda. I am just looking to give a kick to some of the more important stuff, that I think have fallen off the 'front page' so to speak. 8. Why are all your post complete reprints of existing articles? A couple of reasons. First, I don't have the time to write up, or the talent to compose, these well thought out, and organized articles, though we will gladly publish yours ;-). Secondly, convience to the reader. I hope that this site may become a place where folks can come and get news selected especially for them and which is archived and preserved for educational purposes. 9.
