The huge lies I’d like to focus on are Dubya’s duplicitous spin about whether it is a “Crusade” or not and how Dubya has alienated every segment of Iraqi society.
Big Brother Herr Führer 43’s “love is vengeance which never dies”, just as the troubled soul in the Who song about “Behind blue eyes” is plainly psychotic. Dubya, the Christian zealot, and the Islamic fanatics, are insane to be fighting this battle of religions.
Why is Dubya doing this? Every duplicitous action he does has two ulterior motives, votes and money for his top 1% “Ranger” and “Pioneer” buddies.
Subliminally, in the deep recesses of our “red staters” Dubya’s Crusade is righteous. He is going to get votes for destroying as many Muslim cities as he can. Pa to Ma, “Golly, look at that mosque burn. Boykin was right; their God isn’t as big as ours. That Dubya is a good Christian, and those Muslims are getting what they deserve!”
Think about the unalterable fact that shortly after September 11, the Evangelist Reverend Franklin Graham declared, "The God of Islam is not the same God. He's not the son of God of the Christian or Judeo-Christian faith. It's a different God, and I believe it is a very evil and wicked religion."
Later, he told NBC News, "It wasn't Methodists flying into those buildings, it wasn't Lutherans. It was an attack on this country by people of the Islamic faith."
Just as with Bumbling Boykin more recently, Dubya has only mildly criticized bible-thumping nut-jobs for remarks such as these. The GOP “Southern Strategy” is dictating that Dubya can’t act like a principled “leader of the free world who doesn’t do nuances” should, and immediately throw these fools into jail and throw away the key. He is out for votes, so his “moral clarity” gets distracted.
To further the stupidity, now, along with several other US and Canadian-based fundamentalist Christian groups, Reverend Franklin Graham is organizing Christian welcome wagons. He’ll be riding into shattered Iraq villages with band-aids in one hand and Bibles in the other.
That is too much hypocrisy. The publisher of the British Muslim magazine Q-News responded to the reports about Graham by writing in The Guardian, "For the few remaining Muslims who doubted the crusading nature of the coalition forces, the final blow came last week."
The website khalifah.com, an Arabic site, reported the news as "Enhancing the conviction among some Arabs and Muslims that the U.S.-led war of aggression on Iraq is part of a new 'crusade' campaign."
On the ground Dubya is losing ground at an atrocious rate. Rummy and Wolfie have recently said that they have no clear understanding as to the identity of the attackers. Iraqis also have no concept of what a democracy is. The article” Hussein gone, Iraqis must make their own rules” of November 2, 2003by| Trudy Rubin states, “ Most Iraqis aren't even sure of the meaning of democracy; over and over, I heard people complain that democracy would usher in Western decadence and license. A television salesman asked me skeptically:”
"Does democracy mean you are free to use a satellite dish and watch bad programs, or drink in the street, or say anything you want?"A merchant selling air conditioners added: "The people think freedom means to do whatever they please, so if the Americans leave tomorrow, everyone will kill everyone."
"The attacks are being committed by three broad categories of guerrillas, none with close ties to Saddam," wrote Hassan Fattah, a Baghdad-based journalist, for 'The New Republic' in July.
In addition to former lower-ranking Baathists, the two major groups, according to Fattah and other reporters, include conservative predominantly Sunni tribesmen, increasingly angry at disrespectful behaviour by US troops, and an indigenous group, the best-known arm of which is 'Mohammed's Army'.
The Shia Arabs have been largely excluded from power and are relatively poor, but they

Inheritance taxes are getting so out of line, that the deceased family
often doesn't have a legacy to stand on.
