10:22 PM - Slash Upgrade
Upgraded the site to slash 2.3.0 and moved over all the existing content and scrubed it as best i can... all the links seem to be working just some old GUI code on the front page that will take care of itself once the older stories fall of the front page.

it was a real bear...

after 4 machines and numerous false-starts and re-starts i finally got a solid foundation in place.

now i need to configure the rest by hand...

i can copy over blocks and other existing via the db (slash is the old one, to gfp the new one) and webmin one at a time.

i also need to set the vars and other config stuff.

i need to review the upgrade instructions for new modules that may be required like GD.

stats doesn't seem to be working yet.

slashd seems to be running nicely.

i'm signing off for tonight, cya tomorrow.
