Recently GFP found out, that not only David Boren (Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
and friend of George Tenet) was geographically connected with "Hijacker No.20", Zacarias Moussaoui,
but also "CIA-Professor" David Edger.

In a bizarre twist, Edger arrived at almost the same time in Oklahoma City, when Moussaoui got arrested, who lived some minutes away.

Coincidence?
How did german CIA officer Thomas Volz react in Hamburg, who once tried to hire Atta's contact Darkanzali as an informant?

Let's recap the facts:

Due to Tami Watson (normantranscript.com ,February 2002) and Michael Philip Wright (Norman, Oklahoma), author of The Moussaoui-Tenet-Boren Connection, we learned about the original story of CIA agent David Edger.

Edger "arrived on the OU campus in August 2001 to begin his duties as a visiting professor in the political science department.

Up until that month he had responsibility for surveillance of the Al Qaeda cell in Germany, whose membership included Ramzi bin Al-Shibh, paymaster for the Al Qaeda organization, and Mohammed Atta, a hijacker on one of the airliners which crashed into the World Trade Center (WTC).

Edger was described by The Norman Transcript as an "expert in intelligence collection, counterintelligence investigations, and political action" . The newspaper also reports that he has directed espionage and counter-espionage activities.

Edger was in Chile in 1973 when the CIA was overthrowing the Allende government.

Was Edgers german "surveillance" connection Thomas Volz?

Volz tried to hire one of Mohammad Atta's contacts, Marmoun Darkanzali, since at least December 1999.
(Darkanzali was in contact with two of bin Ladin's associates in Sudan, Wadih El-Hage and Mamdouh Mahmud Salim)

As two german TV-authors Oliver Schröm and Dirk Laabs recently described for german magazine DER STERN and NDR/ARD TV:

"...wenn sich Volz erst einmal etwas in den Kopf gesetzt hat, verfolgt er dieses Ziel unerbittlich. Diesmal heißt es, Mamoun Darkazanli "umzudrehen"..."

This showed, that Volz desperately tried to hire Darkanzali as an Informant for the CIA. Langley must have known about it.

Is there a possible connection between Thomas Volz and David Edger?

Jewish Bulletin news from March 30, 2001 contained some interesting bio about Volz:

In this article, we learn from former Likud-politician Andrzej Kielczynski aka Joseph Barak, that he once "signed a contract with a CIA agent in Tel Aviv in 1985 and passed on data about Israeli intelligence operatives in the United States and elsewhere" including Jonathan Pollard (Photo below).

Now Kielczynski continued with his bizarre story:

"The CIA people at the American Embassy followed my activity for several years and decided I could supply the data they needed," Kielczynski said. "They courted me for a while, then made the offer. I signed the contract in Frankfurt, Germany, with a CIA man from the embassy, Thomas Volz." The Israel Foreign Ministry's diplomatic list for 1984-85 mentions Volz as an undersecretary at the U.S. Embassy.

Dead end for now. Nothing more is available about Volz' job in 1984.

Same to the activities of David Edger in the 90s. However, since Sep11th, he sometimes appeared in the media.
And in an older article from 2001, he described himself as cyber space specialist, even aware of a possible hack on the Electronic Power Grid System:

"...Cyber terrorism can be done. Edger said a study in 1997 proved hackers could enter computer systems. Half of the targets attacked by hackers did not know they had been attacked. Cyber terrorists could, in theory, use the computer to control America’s air traffic control system or shut down the 911 system of Washington, D.C. ..."

Edger wasn't prophetic and also didn't lie. He spoke about an NSA-simulation of 1997.

Due to ex-CIA Ralph McGehee's CIA Database, Edger had also connections with former deputy director for clandestine operations, David Cohen., who joined the New York Police Department in 2002.

In 1995, Edger was appointed by Cohen as "associate deputy directors of ops", while Leo Hazelwood, former CIA executive director, became Deputy Director for administration.

More interestingly, Dr.Ruth David, at that time director of Advanced Info Technology at Sandia National Laboratory, became Deputy Director for Science and Technology.

Ruth David was mainly responsible for the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, years before Sep11th, with the help of ANSER. (See also BENS-CIA-911-Homeland Security Connection and Tracking all Hijackers)

Ruth David was also in contact with another ex-CIA Officer, Linda Millis, who started to work for Business Executives for National Security (BENS) in February 2001. Same strategy: Stabilizing the Homeland Security and privatising the Pentagon:
PNAC/IASPS's "Clean break" as a predecessor for Rumsfeld's Tail-Tooth Call to Action.

In April 2002, David and Millis met at a "New Threats Policy Action Group Planning Meeting", together with Chris Kelly and Steve Trevino from Booz Allen Hamilton, ex-CIA James Woolsey's consulting company.

Ruth David is a hardliner for the intelligence. When she was appointed as Deputy Director for Science and Technology, at the same time, Paul Redmond was appointed for ci, Christine Wiley for personnel issues.

Already in November 1999, Dr. David initiated ANSER's Homeland Defense Strategic Thrust "to address the growing national concern of multi-dimensional, asymmetric threats from rogue nations, sub-state terrorist groups, and domestic terrorists. In May 2001, the ANSER Institute of Homeland Security was established to enhance public awareness and education and contribute to the dialog on a national, state, and local level."

The Homeland Security worked already perfect before September 11th.

Meanwhile, in Summer 2002, we learned, that her former colleague Paul Redmond has resigned, while "in the middle of his secret investigation into how Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden allegedly obtained US computer software", obviously this was PROMIS.

But back to Edger. We still don't know much about his german terror investigation in August 2001 and there are still no concrete ties to Thomas Volz. Both won't speak.

Edger's other contacts however, point on more Sep11th ties:

On August 25th, 2003 Edger was on a panel discussion at the University of Oklahoma together with Admiral William Crowe (who co-founded the Anthrax-vaccine company Bioport with ex-Porton Down Fuad Al-Hibri), Kenneth Levit, former legal counsel for the CIA and now head of OU-Tulsa, and Edwin Corr, who was the U.S. ambassador to El Salvador during that country's fight against leftist terrorists in the 1980s.

In 2002, Edger supported a "Political Science Shop Talk", sponsored by "Pi Sigma Alpha, the talks were led by Ambassador Edward J. Perkins, executive director of the International Programs Center at OU who is also a former U.S. Representative to the United Nations and the UN Security Council".

Perkins is member of the Council on Foreign Relations and edited books include Preparing America's Foreign Policy for the 21st Century, with David L. Boren.

What about the other CIA specialists, who received prior warnings and even observed the famous "malysia meeting"?

One of them was Cofer Black, who resigned, unexplained, at the CIA in May 2002. Black is meanwhile Co-ordinator for Counter-Terrorism, US Department of State.
Or what about Dale Watson, ex CIA, who worked at the FBIHQ in Summer 2001 and ignored warnings by Kenneth Williams and Colleen Rowley? Later he also resigned and started to work for Booz Allen Hamilton.

Both spoke at the first 9/11 hearings in 2002:

Black confirmed, that in January 2001, he was in contact with "special agents from the FBI's New York field office", who brought a "Kuala surveillance photo".

But in 2003's current 9/11 commission, noone talks about the german intelligence surveillance.
There is no Edgar or Volz at the hearings. Why?

The US Congress and U.S. Media still ignore the facts about "Operation Zartheit" by german intelligence BfV, who obtained telephone numbers of all contacts of the "Hamburg Cell" and forwarded them to the CIA and CTC-long time before 9/11.

There is no word about "more than 8,400 telephone calls to 1,400 different numbers", which were made by the German Intelligence "in three years from the Hamburg apartment Binalshibh", as reported by LA Times in January 2003.

8000 phone calls and none of them was interesting for the CIA?

Many other questions about the german 9/11-connection are still unanswered.

Is it true, that a german police investigation into german-syrian company Tatex Trading GmbH was blocked after Sep11th, because of their ties with syrian intelligence and former director Mohammed Madschid Said?
Or even more odd, because of the visits of Said's son Mohammed Hady at Atta's appartment in Hamburg? Or because Hady was at the wedding of Mounir Al Motassadeq, yet another 9/11 suspect, who had his german trial earlier this year? Does it make sense to block?

Other questions:

Why did german police arrest Mohammed Raji right after Sep11th and let him go again?
Raji was under surveillance by German Intelligence in Hamburg.

What happened with another suspect, Said Bahaji, also in connection with the Hamburg Cell?

Why does the CIA still not allow Zacarias Moussaoui or even german 9/11-lawyers of the second german 9/11 trial (Abdelghani Mzoudi, who signed Atta's last will) to speak with Ramzi Binalshib, who could tell a lot about the Hamburg Cell?

What happened with the results of the Netherland Secret Service, who found out, that "Hamburg cell" member, Mounir el-Motassadeq, "received cash from an Eindhoven mosque that had been diverted from funds provided by "Saudi financiers"?

It's not sure, if CIA officer Volz still works in Hamburg.

He could give some answers on all these questions, same to his "contacts" in Langley.

And Edger?
He is still working at Oklahoma University, now "in his second year as a participant in the CIA Officer in Residence program."

In May 2003, Edger met George Tenet, who was this year's commencement speaker at OU, as announced by President David L. Boren in April.

Edger's comments:
"He's an excellent choice...It's a great honor that he's coming."

Finally there is another german Edger-connection, which could point on Thomas Volz.

Due to Oklahoma University News (October 2001), "Mr. Edger was stationed at the U. S. Embassy in Berlin as Minister-Counselor for Coordination, where he directed both military and civilian U. S. intelligence programs in Germany".

Volz worked at the U.S Embassy between 1984-85 and at the U.S.Consulate in Hamburg in 1999, if all reports are true. He still might have some contacts.

Did Edger and Volz met in Berlin?

Are we justified in having a strong suspiction that the true answers are "yes"? In that event, then Edger knew three weeks in advance of the 9/11 attack that it was under way, and did nothing to obstruct it. Is Edger a criminal who deserves to be indicted for treason? Were his associates David Boren and George Tenet his accomplices? Readers are invited to view the evidence and arguments at my journal and decide.
