911 Widow Sues Bush for Allowing Attacks to Happen

In Europe: Germany, London & the Netherlands everyone is reporting about 911 Widow Ellen Marinari who is suing the Bush Administration for Letting 911 Happen on Purpose (GFP reported). Ellen's husband died in the second plane which struck the WTC. This woman is an American Hero!

There is a 62 page complaint that painfully details the blatant criminality of the Bush administration which, at least, allowed the attacks to happen. On the Alex Jones radio show today Ellen Marinari said...

Thank god for this Patriotic Woman who is willing to stand up against the tyranny and treason of a regime that has done nothing but lie and cover-up information critical to an open and honest investigation.

We the families of 9/11 victims need to have answers to the following questions:

1.         Why were 29 pages of the 9/11committee report personally censored at your request?  

2.         Where are the "black boxes" from Flight 11 and Flight 175?  

3.         Where are the "voice recorders" from Flight 11 and Flight 175?  

4.         Why can't we gain access to the complete air traffic control records for Flight 11 and Flight 175?  

5.         Where are the airport surveillance tapes that show the passengers boarding the doomed flights?  

6.         When will complete passenger lists for all of the flights be released?  

7.         Why did your brother Jeb (the Governor of Florida) go to the offices of the Hoffman Aviation School and order that flight records and files be removed? These files were then put on a C130 government cargo plane and flown out of the country. Where were they taken and who ordered it done?

Ellen has gotten Phillip J. Berg, former District Attorney in Pennsylvania, as her attorney. These two brave souls are on their way to battle the most unpatriotic, tyranical regime ever in American history. They need our support in many ways. Phillip J. 9/11 widow wants Bush in court

A September 11 widow has filed a Federal Court complaint against US President George Bush and his cabinet members for concealing the truth about the World Trade Centre attacks.

Ellen Mariani alleges leading members of the US administration had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks but failed to warn anyone of the terrible danger and made no effort to prevent thousands of deaths.

Her late husband, Louis Neil Mariani, died in the south tower of the World Trade Centre.

Speaking to Aljazeera.net on Tuesday, attorney Philip Berg said the complaint was being filed under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act (RICO).

...Berg claims he is able to prove not only the well-documented relationship between the Bush and Bin Ladin families in the 70s and early 80s, but also during the current presidency.

Attack? What Attack? Difficult to Prove Bush Knew Anything, Then or Now

Last week, Howard Dean raised the question whether Bush had foreknowledge of a 9-11 attack. "The most interesting theory that I've heard so far—which is nothing more than a theory, it can't be proved—is that he was warned ahead of time by the Saudis," Dean said. Asked Sunday about this statement, Dean replied, "I can't imagine the president of the United States doing that"—but then said Bush should "give the information" to the 9-11 Commission. When asked why he raised the theory in the first place, Dean said, "Because there are people who believe that. We don't know what happened in 9-11."

At the same time, Phil Berg, a former deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania, filed suit in U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania on behalf of Ellen Mariani, widow of Louis Neil Mariani, who was aboard Flight 175 when it hit the south tower on 9-11. Berg said the suit was being brought by Ellen Mariani as part of an effort "to get to the truth of what happened."

The attorney filed a 62-page complaint charging that "President Bush and officials including, but not limited to, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Ashcroft, and Tenet," had "adequate foreknowledge" of 9-11, yet failed to warn the country or attempt to prevent it and have been covering up the truth of that day ever since. The suit claims that means they therefore "abetted the murder of plaintiff's husband," so he is suing the Bushies, under the RICO Act, for conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and wrongful death. The suit documents detailed forewarnings from foreign governments and FBI agents, what it calls the unprecedented delinquency of our air defense, and the inexplicable half-hour dawdle by Bush himself at an elementary school after hearing the nation was under deadly attack. Berg's suit also notes the administration's incessant invocation of national security and executive privilege to withhold documents and accuses the government of obstructing the investigation.

Ellen Mariani dropped her previous attorneys to go with Berg, who has a reputation as a political activist in Pennsylvania. Following the Supreme Court's decision in the Florida election case, he wrote to the court demanding disbarment of Justices Sandra Day O'Connor, Antonin Scalia, and Clarence Thomas, claiming they "must accept the consequences of their partisan action." Berg demanded that the three "voluntarily turn in their licenses in their respective states or we will ask that disciplinary action be undertaken, including disbarment as well as summary suspension in their respective states for violating the Rules of Court and not 'recusing' themselves in the case of Bush v. Gore."

The appointment of James Baker, a senior partner at Baker Botts, the big Houston law firm, ought to be a reassuring sign to Big Oil and other Bush-Cheney cronies trying to divvy up the spoils in Iraq.

The Bush family owes its political good fortune to Jim Baker. He ran Bush the Elder's campaign in 1980, lifting the congressman from the mud of liberal trilateralism to be Ronald Reagan's running mate. This was no easy job, because the Reagan right perceived the older Bush as a weakass liberal with Commie sympathies. Baker served as Reagan's chief of staff and then treasury secretary; in the elder Bush's administration, he was secretary of state. Most recently, he negotiated Bush Jr.'s election in Florida. Without Baker, the Bushes wouldn't amount to a hill of beans in national politics.

At 73, Baker is at the center of a wheeling-dealing whirlwind. Baker Botts is tight with Enron, having represented it in a major pipeline merger during Enron's halcyon days...

Jordan, also from Baker Botts, is Dubya's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, where the law firm has a powerful, permanent presence—its website boasts nine main offices: Austin, Dallas, and Houston, of course, plus New York, Washington, and London, naturally, and Moscow. The two others? Baku, capital of oil-rich Azerbaijan, and Riyadh, in oil-rich Saudi Arabia. ...

....Baker Botts is slickest when it comes to oil, but Baker himself has even wider interests. As senior counsel to the Carlyle Group, the investment firm long associated with Bush interests, Baker helps to oversee the operations of the nation's 10th-largest defense contractor, United Defense. Red Herring magazine once referred to Carlyle as "the gatekeeper between private business interests and U.S. defense spending." Baker watched the 9-11 catastrophe unfold from the Ritz Carlton Hotel in D.C. with Carlyle Group pal Frank Carlucci (Reagan's former national security adviser and secretary of defense) and members of the bin Laden family; they were all there that day for Carlyle's annual investor conference. Baker has defended the Saudi government against a trillion-dollar lawsuit brought by 9-11 families.

Nominally appointed to sort out Iraq's debt, Baker will have to convince the international community that despite the Bush first-strike doctrine, the U.S. will abide by its treaties when it comes to international commerce. He'll have to sort out the oil deals awarded by Saddam to the French and others, and organize the reserves for future exploitation by Big Oil, which eventually means some sort of accommodation with OPEC. His appointment gives Baker Botts more clout than it ever dreamed of.

Key decisions will involve getting the pipelines from Iraq's oil fields to Turkish ports up and running and deciding whether to give Israel oil through yet another pipeline. None of this can happen without some sort of Iraqi government that has international legitimacy. As for the debt itself, said to total anywhere from $128 billion to $200 billion (and sure to generate substantial fees for the companies he picks to handle the detail work), Baker ought to be pretty knowledgeable. As secretary of state under Papa Bush, he was a key factor in making Iraq's debt larger with a $5 billion loan from the U.S. Agriculture Department's Commodity Credit Corporation to help Saddam keep his weaponry up-to-date.
