Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that chief Pentagon Spokeswoman Victoria Clarke would step down from her post as assistant secretary of defense for public affairs on June 20. Citing personal reasons for her departure, Clarke said, "I depart sadly, because this has been the best professional experience of my life. It has been a true honor working for the men and women of the U.S. military."
Clarke is an interesting character, what the official story of Sep11th depends. As President Bush, she also claimed, she saw the first plane crash live on TV on one screen at the Pentagon Even if she was wrong, it implies that she saw the second plane crash on TV. In an interview she said, that noone organised an evacuation at that time, but she didn't explain, why. Clarke would be therefore an important witness to subpoena. She also might know a lot about the so called Iraq intelligence on WMD Another interesting fact is, that she had only 4 days notice until her departure. Already yesterday somehow Master CIA-Disinfo Agent Bill Gertz posted on his website, that Clarke "is leaving the Pentagon, according to defense officials", but didn't mention further sources. From 911 Skeptics Unite -the encyclopedia : "...In an interview with Greta Van Susteren of Fox News, Clarke told Susteren, how they reacted on the attack and didn't decide to evacuate the building: "...we were talking about some incredibly tricky issue that we were going to have to address that day on Macedonia, and somebody points to the TV screens in the room and says, well, this is the story of the day. And that was when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. And then, all the operations -- ...Secretary Rumsfeld was still in his office, he was getting a briefing on another matter, he was going to be joining us. And we're in a room with no windows, we've got tons of screens up with different agencies, all the different networks, and felt this enormous thump and a big noise... ...I said, it must be a car bomb.
