12:00 PM - One true word?
Where is?
Where is Bin laden?
Where is Hussein?
Where is the coalition that Dubya promised both the US Congress and the UN he would get before he attacked Iraq?
Where are the WMD?
Where is one sign that Hussein was an imminent threat to the US?
Where is an intelligence agent who thought that there was an allegiance between bin laden and Hussein? bin laden labeled Hussein as being a bad, socialistic, Muslim, so this makes no sense, doesn’t it?
Where are the Iraqis who would greet us as liberators?
Where is Iraqi satisfaction with US-installed interim governing council? The Sunni Arabs in Iraq have been “shortchanged” by the Americans, especially with regard to the US-installed interim governing council, Sheikh Ahmed Al Kubaisi, head of the Iraqi Muslim Ulema Front. His quote, “Because most of the armed resistance takes place in Sunni areas, the Americans deprive the Sunnis of their legitimate right to have an equal say in their country’s affairs,” does not sound like the Sunnis are happy. “The US forces were abusing the basic human rights of the Iraqis. “We are being humiliated in our homeland,” he added, “I urge the American to change their behaviour immediately.”
Otherwise, he declared, he and others will call for “an armed resistance” to drive the Americans out. So far, he has refrained from supporting the sporadic armed attacks against the US forces, but said his position may change soon. “When I first returned to Baghdad, I said the Americans had one year to fix things and leave; however, I don”t see any practical steps in this direction,” he said. “Time is running out.” When asked if he was to declare “war” again the Americans next April, when the one-year ultimatum ends, he said: “Of course, what else can we do to end an occupation that seems to want to last 60 years?”
Where is one intelligence agent that didn’t tell Dubya that he would be going into a quagmire when he occupied Iraq? The most obvious source, Poppy, didn’t want to destabilize the area when he attacked Iraq just 12 years ago, and that was his stated reason for not going after Hussein. Is Dubya so “lacking of intellectual curiosity” that he could not even understand this?
Where is Poppy’s “honor and dignity”; was he unethical in 1991? The first President Bush incited both the Kurds of the northern Iraq and the Shia of the south to revolt against Saddam Hussein at the end of the 1991 Gulf War, but both groups were betrayed when US forces did not support them. Why would Dubya, Poppy’s apple fall far from the tree?
By the way, before any of this buildup to the war, when Rove was beginning his plan to win the 2002 mid-term with his cheerleader Dubya attacking Democrats as being in league with bin laden, there were many articles which suggested that attacking Iraq would become a mess. Gwynne Dyer’s article in that time frame, “What If Iraq's Sunnis Decide to Put Up a Real Fight This Time?”, seemed to be prescient didn’t it? One quote about the end of the 1991 Gulf War, “The U.S. decision to stop after freeing Kuwait was based largely on the assessment that these mostly Sunni Arab troops, and especially the Republican Guards divisions, would fight for Saddam, and that the American casualties involved in a further campaign to dig the Iraqi leader out of his bunker in central Baghdad would be unacceptably high.”
Where is one sane person who doesn’t think that all 3 segments of Iraq don’t remember 1991, all of the intervening years of economic sanctions, which decimated the majority of the country, and don’t hate the US?
Where is one, among all of our former allies, who sympathized with us over 9-11, who doesn’t loath Dubya?
Where is the respect of the world for the US?
Where is “Honor and dignity in the White House”?
Where is the filter that Dubya says is blocking the positive news from Iraq from reaching the US populace?
Where is one truthful reason behind the scam for allegedly switching control of the Iraq occupation? National security adviser Condoleezza Rice will head the new Iraq Stabilization Group new group. The purpose of this nifty reorganization is to remove a bottleneck in decision-making by identifying and resolving problems aced by the US-led occupation.
This is too stupid to be dignified with a response. In the article, “Rice to Lead Effort To Speed Iraqi Aid”, this quote, “Reaction beyond the White House to the Bush announcement was muted. Skeptics said they welcome added attention to details by Rice, but they wonder how effective the new group will be and how it will change the situation on the ground.”
Where is the use of logic by people? What possibly could be the cause for the percentage of agreement with Dubya’s Iraq travesty, as reflected in his latest improved popularity poll slowly edging up to 56%? His administration’s policies have not improved so that increase is not consistent with an examination of the facts. Are these people just bending because of Dubya’s recent campaign of spinning Iraq positively?
Where is the outrage that Dubya should be exhibiting for at least the following:
the bad intelligence regarding the need for the Iraq war,
the “16 words” in particular,
the lack of planning for the subsequent occupation,
the leaker?
Where are the 28 redacted pages?
Where are the ledger sheets showing Dubya’s cronies’ profits at the price of US and Iraqi bloodshed?
Where is Dubya’s “moral clarity”?
Where is the rationale for attacking Iraq as a segment in the “everlasting war against terrorism”, when Saudi Arabia had 15 of the 19 terrorists who were involved in 9-11?
Where is some truth regarding the abrupt cease of the hunt for bin laden? Remember the “Crusade” to get him “dead or alive”? All of the US resources devoted to tracking down bin laden, the perpetrator of 9-11, ended their duties when Dubya switched from constantly speaking about bin laden to Hussein. What could be the reason to shriek to such a complete reversal to attack Iraq?
The Bush Administration consciously took the decision in “the post September 11 consultations” with Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad, Pakistan’s chief spy, to directly “cooperate” with Pakistan’s military intelligence ISI) despite its links to Osama bin Laden and the Taliban. In a Times of India/Guardian department article of August 23rd, 2003, “Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has struck a deal with the US not to capture Osama Bin Laden, fearing this could lead to unrest in Pakistan, according to a special investigation by The Guardian. The paper reported that Bin Laden was being protected by three elaborate security rings manned by tribesmen stretching 192 kms in diameter in northern Pakistan”. It is believed an agreement was reached between Musharraf and US authorities shortly after Bin Laden’s flight from his stronghold Tora Bora in Afghanistan in December 2001.
Where is the universal disgust regarding lying about the rationale for war and then seeing Wolfie of Arabia’s comments in the Guardian/UK article, of June 4, 2003, “Wolfowitz: Iraq War Was About Oil”? These PNAC boys are arrogant as well as loose-lipped, but that type of hubris always leads to a huge fall. The Global Free Press section entitled, “ Deception Dollars” including the article, “Warmongering and plots for oil”, among many others, spell out these scams in detail.
Where is one intelligence agent that didn’t tell Dubya that he would be increasing Islamic terrorism by this Iraq War? Two articles of October 15th, 2003, “Al-Qaida may try 'spectacular' attack on U.S. forces, group warns” and “Iraq war swells Al Qaeda's ranks says report” are particularly troubling.
Where is Dubya’s pledge to be an “uniter not divider”? He has two piles, the top 1% and the rest of the world. This is diametrically opposed to that trite uniter remark. His “Ranger” and “Pioneer” campaign contributors get the cream off the top and the remaining 99% get scraps. If you happen to live in a country, such as Iraq, where there is oil, the likelihood of becoming “collateral damage” geometrically increases. In the US, with no tax revenue for the social service network and domestic policies, due to his tax cut for the top 1% and bloated military and homeland security budgets, our children are being left behind, and our ill, elderly and poor are dying before their time.
If some of these points penetrated the consciousness of our populace how could Dubya continue?
Where is one true word that Dubya has said?

04:05 PM - Raping everybody for the top 1%.
It is not as graphically disturbing as seeing soldiers and “collateral damage” victims, but Dubya is causing death in the US as a result of his awful domestic policies. These duplicitous scams can be summed up as—rape everybody for the benefit of the top 1%. Dubya the Flim-Flam man is the merchant of death, as he is deciding who lives in luxury and dies in squalor.
Rove’s puppet boy, Dubya, is intentionally ruining the US and worldwide economy for political advantage. He is making sure his international “Ranger” and “Pioneer” buddies are getting war-profiteering profits, as last illustrated in his $87 billion Iraq bonanza. The most brutal example of the lack of morality in Dubya though is that even the US soldiers, who are in continual jeopardy, are getting shafted.
In the July 8, 2003 article, “War, Tax Cuts, and the Deficit” by Richard Kogan the author cites this quote, “This nation has got a deficit because we have been through a war.”, by President Bush on April 24, 2003.” In that speech, three sentences later, the President added. “And we had an emergency and a recession, which affected the revenue growth of the U.S. Treasury.”
Problem is Dubya was lying “Yet the cost of war, though by no means trivial, is responsible for only a small share of the deficits we face. The President’s tax cuts are a much more significant cause. Congressional Budget Office data indicate that in 2003 and 2004, the cost of enacted tax cuts is almost three times as great as the cost of war, even when the cost of increases in homeland security expenditures, the rebuilding after September 11, and other costs of the war on terrorism —including the action in Afghanistan — are counted as “war costs,” along with the costs of the military operations and subsequent reconstruction in Iraq.”
Further misrepresentations in that speech include, “The President stated that the first way to deal with the deficit is to “increase revenues to the Treasury through economic growth and vitality.” His budget and the congressional budget plan call for major additional tax cuts, however, causing revenues to decline rather than grow, relative to current projections. Dubya’s own budget acknowledges this; it shows that his tax cuts will increase the deficit substantially, not reduce it.”
Maybe I’m a crank, but the neutral Congressional Budget Office, as well as Dubya’s own budget that both came to the logical conclusion that his tax cuts will increase the deficit substantially! By the way, every estimation of the tax cuts states that they benefit Dubya’s contributors, almost exclusively. Wealth redistribution from the lower classes to the upper 1% is a radically preposterous plan, yet that is what Dubya is doing.
Maybe another source would be appropriate. In the article, “Stating the Obvious”, by Paul Krugman, he cites some further disastrous predictions. If his theses are correct then the current economic structure of the U.S. is definitely being challenged by 43’s administration.
Krugman writes, “”The lunatics are now in charge of the asylum.” So wrote the normally staid Financial Times, traditionally the voice of solid British business opinion, when surveying last week’s tax bill. Indeed, the legislation is doubly absurd: the gimmicks used to make an $800-billion-plus tax cut carry an official price tag of only $320 billion are a joke, yet the cost without the gimmicks is so large that the nation can’t possibly afford it while keeping its other promises”.
That sounds bad, but Krugman predicts such a complete destruction of the U.S. economy that the “social safety net built up over the past 70 years” vanishes. He hypothesizes that this is a calculated strategy. He attributes this dishonorable plan to laziness by moderates and liberals and further states,” But the people now running America aren’t conservatives: they’re radicals who want to do away with the social and economic system we have, and the fiscal crisis they are concocting may give them the excuse they need. The Financial Times, it seems, now understands what’s going on, but when will the public wake up?”
This is overkill, but there are so many lies. In the article, “Fiscal Doomsday in the Offing” by David Broder of October 5, 2003 the author writes,” Maybe all the others are wrong…..I would not be that foolhardy, not when the list of people warning that this nation has embarked on a dangerous and unsustainable fiscal course that will wreck our economy and threaten our international standing includes those who now are frantically signaling us to straighten out our policies before it is too late.
Some members of Congress of both parties have argued for months, if not years, that the lack of spending restraint, coupled with the penchant for ever-larger tax cuts, cannot be allowed to go on. Their cautions have gone unheeded.
David Walker, the comptroller general of the United States, is an appointed official with a 15-year term that gives him complete political security. His staff in the General Accounting Office provides the fullest range of information on government finances. Last month, Walker went to the National Press Club to raise a public alarm where he hoped it would be heard. “Our projected budget deficits,” he said, “are not manageable without significant changes in status quo programs, policies, processes and operations.”….. The Committee for Economic Development, a group of business and education leaders; the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a liberal-leaning research and advocacy group; and the Concord Coalition, a bipartisan organization focused on sound fiscal policy, issued their first joint statement on fiscal policy. They called the current budgetary situation “the most fiscally irresponsible” in American history.’
Here follows their agreement with Krugman’s take on this foolish Dubya’s policy, “Staff members of the three groups said that a realistic picture of the next decade shows it is likely that annual deficits will rise from current levels of $400 billion to more than $600 billion and total $5 trillion between 2004 and 2013 -- even assuming a quick return to healthy economic growth and lower unemployment.
Those numbers are incomprehensible. But a better sense of their meaning comes when the groups say that if current policies remain, balancing the budget by 2013 will require raising individual and corporate income taxes by 27 percent, cutting Social Security by 60 percent, cutting defense by 73 percent or cutting all programs—except defense, homeland security, Social Security and Medicare—by 40 percent.
That sounds like scare talk. But the reality is that after 2013, things will get worse. The first of the baby boomers reach retirement age in 2008, and from that point on, Social Security and Medicare payments will explode, as the number of claimants rises each year. As Pete Peterson, the Republican former secretary of commerce, told the news conference where this report was presented, anyone who thinks those programs are solidly financed ought to think again. “To talk about a Social Security trust fund is a fiscal oxymoron,” he said. “It isn’t funded and it can’t be trusted.” Rather, the government faces $25 trillion of unfunded entitlement obligations.”
All of us aging baby boomers have lived through a milder version of this before, in every GOP administration. This is all part of an age-old GOP strategy. They terrify the US into believing that the military must be built up excessively. Reagan had the “Evil Empire” and Tricky Dick had the “domino theory”. Then they add to this tax cuts for their rich 1%. Guess what—Et voilla no money for Democrats! The US budget can’t support this military buildup as well as fund the social safety net, so which budgets get reduced? We see our own relatives and neighbors dying before their time. We are without adequate health care, decent medical insurance. Too many of us must choose between purchasing either prescription drugs or food. Due to Dubya’s awful administration of the US economy each of the states are cutting everything they can. When the Democrats, who are the champion of social service programs, ask for money to help the 99% of US citizens, the GOP have a pat comment. “They are typical tax and spend Democrats!”
He has also selected specific states where his political future may be determined, to attempt to give a few of the lower-income workers, a better chance at getting a job, in his jobless recovery strategy. He even blew that though, basically to incompetence. A little over a year ago, on March 5, 2002, President Bush made a serious mistake by imposing tariffs on imported steel. Recently, the Consuming Industries Trade Action Coalition, a business group, published a study showing that as a result of tariffs, job losses among steel users exceed those in the entire steel industry. It estimates that 200,000 jobs were lost among steel users, while there are only 187,000 total people employed in the steel industry. Sixteen states lost at least 4,500 jobs, including California (19,392), Texas (15,826), Ohio (10,553), and Michigan (9,829).
The reason why steel-consuming industries lost jobs is because the tariffs greatly increased their costs — costs that could not be passed on to consumers due to the absence of inflation. Hence, these higher costs had to be absorbed out of profits. With many manufacturers already suffering losses due to the slow economy, the result was layoffs and bankruptcies. According to press reports, the World Trade Organization has ruled that the U.S. steel tariffs imposed last year violate trading rules that we have agreed to abide by. Although the Bush administration intends to appeal the ruling, its best course would be to just let the tariffs die.
His “everlasting war against terrorism” is a pretense, a con game to funnel money to his buddies. Bush has a calculating strategy whose independent variable is swag for his cronies. Any other variable doesn’t matter as long as the bottom line shows his top 1% has pillaged every last blood soaked cent it can from whatever source. Since our dear troops aren’t in the top 1%, Dubya isn’t going waste his blood soaked booty, on adequate military equipment and processes on them. So what if through his idiotic actions Dubya has forced their lives to be on the line. So what if they are the only ones whose lives are in the balance because the PNAC boys could not wait for the plundering begin, until after we built an international coalition? So what if the war was not sanctioned by the UN and now the UN won’t buckle under Dubya’s conceived to fail, unreasonable demands. For Dubya you either have the secret membership card, a big, fat wallet, or you are cannon fodder. Bush proudly struts around as being concerned for the military. What was his tremendous photo-op on the USS Lincoln, with “Mission Accomplished” behind him other than a chance for his act as the mighty, Commander-in-Chief? His words don’t match his actions. In general, the PNAC death dealers, trying to masquerade as being supportive of our troops, draw the line when that support might actually cost something. The usually conservative Army Times has run blistering editorials on this subject. Its June 30 blast, titled “Nothing but Lip Service,” begins: “In recent months, President Bush and the Republican-controlled Congress have missed no opportunity to heap richly deserved praise on the military. But talk is cheap — and getting cheaper by the day, judging from the nickel-and-dime treatment the troops are getting lately.” Various Bush cronies are making these financial killings. While they are making ill-gotten gains, can’t they provide adequate services for our youth?
There is a sucker born every day, but even the GOP can’t swallow this 20.3 billion for Iraqi reconstruction. Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) urged that the administration press nations such as France, Russia and Germany to forgive some of Iraq’s $200 billion foreign debt, which Bremer conceded is now the United States’ responsibility. “It’s tough to make a case to give $20 billion outright,” Flake said. “There are a lot of us who are still troubled.”

What kind of person ruins the economy--allows our greatest treasure, our youth, to get massacred and still has to grasp for more spoils. Double-dealing Dubya, the self-proclaimed man who would “return honor and dignity to the White House”, can’t control his insatiable greed.

Those of you who are not benefiting by this, essentially 99% of the US, better get this straight. His tax cuts help the top 1%, and you are not in it. Also, these tax cuts will make sure that the needed social services you depend on will be slashed, as the revenues to support them go to his “Ranger” and “Pioneer” buddies. Your kids are getting an inferior education. You know people eating dog food and taking their daily prescription once a week because they can’t afford to take them as prescribed—therefore dying before their time. No one ever makes estimates regarding how inferior social services contribute to death, but the results would be staggering. His misadministration of the economy is not as blatant as the horrific scenes of young soldiers dying, but he is causing deaths in the US by his policies, probably of a much higher magnitude that in his “everlasting war against terrorism”.
You red staters, none of you are in his blue-blooded secret club. Please think about this. If you vote for him you are hurting yourself.

03:17 AM - He is immoral and will grasp for anything!
Views from a dimension that Dubya attacks—reality!
In the Guardian/UK article, of June 4, 2003, “Wolfowitz: Iraq War Was About Oil”, by George Wright this quote, “The US Deputy Defense Secretary, Paul Wolfowitz - who has already undermined Tony Blair's position over weapons of mass destruction (WMD) by describing them as a "bureaucratic" excuse for war - has now gone further by claiming the real motive was that Iraq is "swimming" in oil, shows less than what you’d expect from the man who would “return honor and dignity to the White House”.
Wolfowitz thought this was such a cute phrase, and contrasted Iraq with North Korea as he elaborated, “"Let's look at it simply. The most important difference between North Korea and Iraq is that economically, we just had no choice in Iraq. The country swims on a sea of oil."
The just mentioned undermining of Tony Blair's position over WMD is fleshed out in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine on May 9th. At that time Wolfowitz, appeared to minimize the importance of WMD in this quote, "The truth is that for reasons that have a lot to do with the U.S. government bureaucracy, we settled on the one issue that everyone could agree on, which was weapons of mass destruction as the core reason," he said, according to a Pentagon transcript in which he stressed other justifications for the war.”
So, they dummied down the rationale for the Iraq war, so that Dubya could win votes for it. The Guardian was intimidated and removed the article of June 4, 2003, “Wolfowitz: Iraq War Was About Oil” from their website and posted the following, “A report which was posted on our website on June 4 under the heading "Wolfowitz: Iraq war was about oil" misconstrued remarks made by the US deputy defence secretary, Paul Wolfowitz, making it appear that he had said that oil was the main reason for going to war in Iraq. He did not say that. He said, according to the Department of Defence website, "The ... difference between North Korea and Iraq is that we had virtually no economic options with Iraq because the country floats on a sea of oil. In the case of North Korea, the country is teetering on the edge of economic collapse and that I believe is a major point of leverage whereas the military picture with North Korea is very different from that with Iraq."
It seems like the nitpicking drivel that the “leader of the free world who doesn’t do nuances”, with his vaunted “moral clarity” would never subject his loving US populace with! Later Wolfowitz predicted that Iraq would rapidly be able to pay for its repair to its infrastructure with the huge oil profits. He had to back away from that also.
In an August 2, 2003 article “ The sheep turn on Wolfie--US senators are pressing for some straight answers about security”, Maureen Dowd writes, “The military and rehabilitation efforts now under way in Iraq are an essential part of the war on terror," Wolfowitz proclaimed, capitalising the "W" and the "T" in his written testimony, and underlining the sentence for those too dim to understand its importance.
Brazening out the failure to find the Saddam-al-Qaida links and weapons of mass destruction, Wolfowitz has simply done an Orwellian fan dance, covering up the lack of concrete ties to the 9/11 terrorists with feathery assertions that securing "the peace in Iraq is now the central battle in the war on terror".
From Meet The Press of March 16th, 2003 the quotes:
“Tricky Dick 2” Cheney: My belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators.
From Meet The Press of September 14th, 2003 the quotes:
Mr. Russert: The Washington Post asked the American people about Saddam Hussein, and this is what they said: 69 percent said he was involved in the September 11 attacks. Are you surprised by that?”
Cheney: No. I think it’s not surprising that people make that connection.
Mr. Russert: But is there a connection?
Cheney: We don’t know.
On CNN Aaron Brown’s NEWSNIGHT of September 17, 2003 this quote:
George W. Bush: We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September the 11th.
CNN, regarding this Dubya doltish quote, has to broadcast to attract viewers, so this is a mild but accurate summation by their John King: Aaron, what he said was that the administration has no evidence that Saddam Hussein had anything to do with the September 11 attacks but Mr. Bush went on to say there's no question in his view that Saddam did have ties to al Qaeda, the latest installment in a running battle. This president's critics say he deliberately blurs the line so the Americans do blame Saddam.
From the latest Meet the Press interviews somehow Cheney implied that we are doing swell in Iraq, which strains credulity. Instead of a public flagellation he should be forced to give that spiel to each and every US family who have lost a dear youth as a sitting duck soldier, and each of the over 30,000 Iraqi citizens that have become “collateral damage“ statistics.
Mr. Russert: Let me turn to the situation in Iraq. We all remember this picture from May 1. The president on the USS Lincoln on May 1; mission accomplished. Since that time, these are the rather haunting figures coming out of Iraq. We had lost 138 soldiers before May 1, and 685 wounded, injured. Since that time, since the president came on the carrier and said major combat was over, we’ve lost 158, and 856 wounded and injured. Those numbers are pretty troubling.
Cheney: You’d like to be able do everything casualty-free. When you think about what we’ve accomplished in terms of taking Afghanistan—we had a total of 30 killed in action in Afghanistan—taking down the Taliban and destroying the capacity of al-Qaeda to use Afghanistan as a base to attack the United States, launching an attack into Iraq, destroying the Iraqi armed forces, taking down the government of Iraq, getting rid of Saddam Hussein, capturing 42 out of the 55 top leaders, and beginning what I think has been fairly significant success in terms of putting Iraq back together again, the price that we’ve had to pay is not out of line, and certainly wouldn’t lead me to suggest or think that the strategy is flawed or needs to be changed.
I don’t have the restraint that Tim Russert has. I would have presented Cheney with the contradiction between Bush saying "Bring 'em on." and the BRING THEM HOME NOW organization of patriotic US military families who hate this duplicitous, heartless regime’s careless destruction of our greatest asset our future, our youth.
All of this treasonous activity is leading to at least four separate congressional investigations. One is for the “16 words”. A second is for the redaction of the 28 pages in the Congressional 9-11 report. A third is for the illegal, despicable act of retribution against Joseph Wilson, by exposing his wife, a CIA operative. Last, but not least, the notorious Presidential Daily Briefing which stated “bin Laden had wanted to conduct attacks in the United States for years and that (his) group apparently maintained a support base here”.
Remember Dubya forgot that he know “Kenny boy” until enough people exposed him for his lie. Maybe, Cheney used Dubya as a model for Cheney’s baseless remark that he knew nothing about Joseph Wilson’s Niger report, and didn’t even know the man.
On MEET THE PRESS Cheney, the former deficit hawk had these simply evil comments about the US economy.
Cheney: I am a deficit hawk. So is the president. The fact of the matter is, we’ve always made exceptions for recession, national emergency, time of war. The deficit that we’re running today, after we get the approval of the $87 billion, will still be less as a percentage of our total capacity to pay for it, our total economic activity in this country, than it was back in the ’80s or the deficits we ran in the ’90s.
From the article, relating to the last Dubya tax cut for his “Ranger” and Pioneer” buddies, "Stating the Obvious", by Paul Krugman, he writes, ""The lunatics are now in charge of the asylum." So wrote the normally staid Financial Times, traditionally the voice of solid British business opinion, when surveying last week's tax bill. Indeed, the legislation is doubly absurd: the gimmicks used to make an $800-billion-plus tax cut carry an official price tag of only $320 billion are a joke, yet the cost without the gimmicks is so large that the nation can't possibly afford it while keeping its other promises".
That sounds bad, but Krugman predicts a destruction of the U.S. economy so that the "social safety net built up over the past 70 years" vanishes. He hypothesizes that this is a calculated strategy. He attributes this dishonorable plan to laziness by moderates and liberals and further states," But the people now running America aren't conservatives: they're radicals who want to do away with the social and economic system we have, and the fiscal crisis they are concocting may give them the excuse they need. The Financial Times, it seems, now understands what's going on, but when will the public wake up?"
They are radical in their economic policies as well as their warmongering. When did we know this was their plan, and how dare they do this when they certainly have no mandate, because unless they conveniently forgot, they lost the popular vote, as well as the 2000 election
Right now you’d have a better chance to have a workable power grid, improved education, health care, and a free press in Iraq than the US. When the baby boomers retire, in less than ten years, the US will be in even worse shape than the deplorable state it is now.
So, you can’t believe the transparent lies that Wolfie of Arabia, Cheney and their puppet president, have to say. Is there anyone in that PNAC crew you could feel confident in believing?
This is a very scary time. As a baby boomer I’ve seen a lot but I have not been so distraught since 1968 when the afore-mentioned “Tricky Dick” spellbound just enough losers with his clearly transparent ploy, the “secret plan to end the Vietnam War”. I knew of no one who actually believed that spiel, but the thug won the election with it. This thug is even bolder and if the media and the public don’t exhibit their outrage, worse days are to come.
The right-wing, with Clear Channel radio stations, and FOX and FOX lite Cable TV, tell the red state voters what to think! It is just like the "Outer Limits" in which "they control the TV; they control what we are shown and therefore what we can conceivably understand. they control the TV; they control what we are shown and therefore what we can conceivably understand.
Previously, every evil tyrant has had to start off small, but 43 changed all that. When his lawyers stole the 2000 election the current GOP organization knew that the entire country was theirs for the taking. When they realized that the US Supreme Court, which 41 stuffed, was in their pocket, they were delighted. Add the complete control of the media to their political and legal stranglehold on the US, and they developed hubris. Many people have died unjustly in wars that should have been democratically debated, but eventually, this regime will be changed. Kerry was right about that point, and if Rove had spent any time studying history, he'd realize that no empire has ever survived when their reach exceeds their capability.

09:59 AM - victims' familes 9-11 and the redacted pages
Two of the victims’ families thoughts about 9-11
Asked if she believes the Bush Administration is withholding information, Patti Casazza, whose son, John, 13, thought his father was Superman - untouchable - until the trade center fell, replied, "They are blacking out info in the report. That is withholding information."

"I don't want anyone to know what it's like to watch your husband burn alive on television," Kristen Breitweiser said. "The report is incomplete at best. Fifteen of the nineteen hijackers were Saudi. We have clear and convincing money trails linking the Saudi princes to the terrorists. Why that's not finding its way into the report, I don't know", she said.

Who do we care about here? Maybe I’m a bleeding heart but, I care about the people who are grieving. 43’s families’ 9-11 compensation fund has provided paltry benefits for the poor families. Also, there has been collusion between the fund’s Special Master and the U.S. District Judge assigned with their private litigation. Typical to their nature, 43’s team always stonewalls. This inhumanity to brokenhearted souls has caused the poor families of the victims of this tragedy; who really want to get the benefits and lawsuits behind them so they can stop being forced to dwell on their lost loved ones, to suffer more, and re-open their wounds with further lawsuits. If 43 had returned “honor and dignity” to his actions in this, then these poor people could get on with their lives. They are not “Pioneers” or “Rangers” so 43’s “compassionate conservatism” doesn’t include them.

A meeting of multiple misdeeds, combining to form a Perfect Storm of scandals for 43’s regime.

There is the Families 9-11 compensation fund, which is low-balling the victims’ families and sharing information detrimental to the victims’ families, with the Families 9-11 lawsuit
Did this fund assuage the victims’ loss? It didn’t! It only roused the anger of the families to such an extent that nearly half the victims eligible to apply for federal money under the Sept. 11 compensation fund have not filed claims for the program. Out of an estimated 3,000 eligible participants, 1,719 people have applied for the fund, created shortly after the terrorist attacks to protect airlines and other agencies from being bombarded with lawsuits. Those who receive checks, which average $1.4 million per victim, give up their right to sue.

U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein, of the Southern District of New York, has private litigation before his court regarding the terrorist attacks of 9-11. 43’s team is maliciously coordinating information with the fund’s Special Master and this private suit’s U.S. District Judge, against the benefit of 9-11 victims’ families. How can they be that evil? Remember how the Paula ones lawyers, some who had worked with Starr, shared information with him and coordinated their legal shenanigans to impeach Clinton? GOP guys, once they see something can work, even though it is unethical, they are duty bound to continue doing it.

The 43 Administration is involved with political machinations linked to Special Master Kenneth Feinberg and the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund which were revealed in a Department of Justice’s letter to Hellerstein’s court: “The Government has been advised that the Court is developing a procedure by which all Plaintiffs in the September 11 Tort Litigation must formally acknowledge the ramifications of pursuing a lawsuit rather than filing a claim with [the Fund].”

This action will permit Feinberg to force families to listen to his attempts to convince them to give up their lawsuits -- accepting his reduced financial offers, instead of taking their chances for fair compensation, justice and accountability in court.

For those who want answers as to what actually led to these air disasters and the deaths of their loved ones, the victim compensation fund falls severely short, claim Schiavo and Greaves.

"The biggest problem with the fund is that no questions may be asked as to how this could have happened," said Greaves. "Plus, life insurance and other collateral sources of compensation are deducted from the award, but fault need not be proven. You get paid now, but less than the potential of a lawsuit."

"Our clients want accountability. They can't do that if they simply take a 'no fault' payment from the fund," Schiavo stated in a press release. "[These families are] suing because they want answers, and they want change."

Schiavo and Greaves are lawyers who have filed 38 lawsuits on behalf of the victims' families.

Just recently, lawyers acting for families of the Lockerbie bombing victims say they have reached agreement with Libya on the payment of compensation. Under the deal Libya was expected to start transferring the compensation money - up to $10 million for every victim - into a Swiss bank account immediately. I’ve read that average will be between 4 and 6 million, which is considerably higher than the $1.4 million in the families’ 9-11 compensation fund. WHY? Remember how 43 gets incensed whenever he speaks about lawyers and their frivolous suits. He couldn’t keep his right-wing conservative standing if he permitted this fund to adequately recompense the victims’ families, even though he hypocritically seems to be such a compassionate person. He is so whenever the cameras are clicking!

The Families 9-11 lawsuit is in Cover-up mode!
What have 43’s boys done, other than the “dishonorable and undignified” actions? We have seen where they are communicating with Special Master Kenneth Feinberg and the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, to the detriment of the victims’ families. In the opening legal gambits of this suit, U.S. Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division Robert D. McCallum, Jr. and United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York James B. Comey advised U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein, that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will intervene to control access to all evidence and documents related to all private litigation before Hellerstein’s court regarding the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 -- citing grave national security concerns as their motivation.

Why? How can 43 hope that this will go unchallenged? What a perfect example of “compassionate conservatism”! The victims’ families have resorted to lawsuits.

Motley’s 9-11 $1 trillion lawsuit on behalf of more than 500 family members of 9-11 victims!
The families’ 9/11 attorney Ronald Motley lawsuit alleges that Saudi money has “for years been funneled to encourage radical anti-Americanism as well as to fund the Al Qaeda terrorists“.
The 259-page complaint names 100 defendants, including members of Saudi Arabia's royal family, the Republic of Sudan, seven Saudi and Sudanese international banks, Islamic charities, Saudi government officials, individual Saudi financiers, and Osama bin Laden.

Another batch of federal lawsuits
38 in total have been or soon will be filed on behalf of victims' family members by attorneys Mary Schiavo and John Greaves of the Los Angeles. It is important to note the distinction between the Schaivo suits and the $1 trillion suit filed against Saudi and Islamic defendants. Plaintiffs who have accepted compensation from the federal victim fund are not precluded from taking part in the Saudi suit, however, those compensated by the fund may not sue the airlines, security companies or U.S. government entities, according to the fund's guidelines.

Hilton’s Families 9-11 lawsuit
Stanley Hilton isn’t another example of a wacko lawyer who’d sue anybody. He is a former aide to Senator Bob Dole. The class-action suit names ten defendants, among whom are George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice and Donald Rumsfeld.
Hilton's suit charges Bush and his administration with allowing the September 11th attacks to take place so as to reap political benefits from the catastrophe. Hilton alleges that Osama bin Laden is being used as a scapegoat by an administration that ignored pressing warnings of the attack and refused to round up suspected terrorists beforehand.

Did you know that Hilton claims to have sources within the U.S. intelligence community, who have stated the Bush Administration ignored intelligence information warning of the impending attacks and refused to round up suspected terrorists known to the FBI and other intelligence agencies before 9-11?

Hilton's plaintiffs in this case are the families of 14 victims of 9/11. These are the same families that rallied in Washington to advocate for an independent investigation into the attacks. They rightly suspected that the just concluded 9/11 hearings which were conducted by Congress behind closed doors, would leave too much unanswered.

They didn’t have to be great prognosticators to get this accurate forecast; they only had to be realistic.

In an article, “All Along the Watchtower”, by William Rivers Pitt, he spells out the reasoning behind this belief, “Mr. Hilton, by filing his lawsuit, has joined the ranks of an ever-increasing body of Americans who subscribe to what they call the LIHOP Theory. LIHOP stands for Let It Happen On Purpose. The LIHOP Theory puts forward the accusation that Bush and his people allowed the September 11th attacks to take place, despite the fact that they had been repeatedly warned of an impending strike.
The LIHOP Theory is straightforward: In the months before 9/11, American intelligence agencies received ominous warnings from the intelligence services of nations like Israel, Russia, Egypt and Germany. These warnings were pointed - an attack involving hijacked aircraft and prominent American landmarks was imminent, our security forces were told. Bush himself was briefed of these warnings weeks before they happened. Instead of responding vigorously to these warnings, the Bush administration and its security apparatus did nothing.”

This briefing, in particular was so damning that the current, hypocritical GOP president has cited executive privilege in refusing to declassify the Presidential Daily Briefing item.

What is he hiding? Can we find a pattern?

Then there is the redaction of 28 pages relating to Saudi Arabia in Congressional 9-11 Report
The Saudi foreign minister spoke with the president of the United States and demanded that the 28 pages be released. And Republican Senator Shelby, who is a friend of the president, says 95 percent of it could be released without any problem for sources and methods.

Why is he stonewalling yet again?  The Congress is preparing to start a process that permits the declassification of information if the Senate voted to release it — even over the objections of the administration.

43’s and Kean share a business partner and to keep that secret the 9-11 Investigation that Kean heads will turn into a sham.
Remember how Kissinger had to recuse himself from this investigation because of conflict of interests? There is no possibility that Thomas Kean, Kissinger's 9-11 Investigation replacement, won’t have to do the same. Rove had to have planned it this way desperately hoping that nothing could come out before the election. When 43 had second thoughts about running in 2000, it was because he didn’t think his history could pass the close inspection a presidential candidate gets. It was not his trivial DUI that concerned him, but his shady business dealings with Saudis.

We have to do a brief recent history primer here. The CIA uncovered the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, ( BCCI ) criminal activities in 1981--no great feat, considering how many of its own foreign "associates" were involved, including the head of Saudi intelligence, Kamal Adham, brother-in-law of King Faisal. Instead of stopping the terrorists, the CIA joined them, using BCCI's secret channels to finance "black ops" all over the world.

When a few prosecutors finally began targeting BCCI's operations in the late Eighties, President Bush 41 boldly moved in with a federal probe directed by Justice Department investigator Robert Mueller. The U.S. Senate later found that the probe had been unaccountably "botched"--witnesses went missing, CIA records got "lost," all sorts of bad luck. Lower-ranking prosecutors told of heavy pressure from on high to "lay off”.

One of the scams they came up with involved Dubya. Mini-me's maladroit business skills were about to sink Harken Energy, but the firm was saved by a $25 million investment from a Swiss bank -- a subsidiary of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, partly owned by the beneficent Khalid bin Mahfouz -- perhaps better known as "Osama bin Laden's bagman" or even "Osama bin Laden's brother-in-law."

What is Kean’s involvement?  Kean is a director of Amerada Hess, an oil giant married up to Saudi Arabia's Delta Oil in a venture to pump  black gold in Azerbaijan. The partnership is incorporated in a secretive offshore "tax haven," natch. You can't expect a GOP inner-circle criminal, like Kean, to pay taxes like some grubby wage slave. One of those cut-outs was Mahfouz factotum James Bath, a partner in George W.'s early oil venture, Arbusto, who has admitted serving as a pass-through for secret Saudi money.

When the GOP say that 43 and Kean were playing by the book, remember that Clinton desperately tried to reign in these offshore dodges, but the GOP controlled Congress wouldn’t go along with it. This little recent history excursion also shows the “honor and dignity” of 41, who knows what these people are capable of, and still is a shill for Carlyle to them. This is an aristocratic family?

The Court cases, proving these allegations behind a reasonable doubt, will carry more weight than even the gop media can cover-up!

What has happened to the rightful outrage regarding Bush’s “16 words”? This, as well as the
43’s regime disclosing intentionally information identifying a covert agent Joseph Wilson’s wife, are both going to require congressional investigations, yet our major media hasn’t trumpeted these situations daily.

The lawsuits for the 9-11 victims’ families will draw attention to information that 43 is desperately trying to hide until after the election. These lawsuits would have been avoided if 43’s had exhibited the “moral clarity” that he struts around duplicitously expounding about. He should have helped the victims’ families in their time of need, rather than shafting them.

FOX, the leading star in the Murdoch’s inspired GOP monopoly of the media will attempt to downplay this. It can’t succeed as the constant attention that court cases require assures that enough will surface to destroy the leaking ship of lies these rats dwell in.

Let’s see, first 43 threw Tenet off the life raft about the “16 words”. That didn’t quiet people down so his team of sinking rats picked Ambassador Robert Joseph, a special assistant to the president with responsibility for counter-proliferation matters on the National Security Council staff to jettison next. That didn’t work, so off went Deputy National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley. It is clear that 43 is the chief rat and he’ll sacrifice anyone.

With these lawsuits, if the perfectly obvious fact that Attorney General Ashcroft, cut the anti-terrorism budget prior to 9-11, against the advice of the outgoing Clinton team comes to light, that won’t kill 43’s run. Neither would Ashcroft’s penchant for covering up naked statues, and evading calico cats, instead of doing something about the terrorist threat. That, at that time was what his job required him to do. How do you explain the AG’s abrupt avoidances of airplanes in the immediate months prior to 9-11, due to intelligence he received related to the terrorist threat? This falls into the category of LIH, maybe accidentally, or due to incompetence.

If the LIHOP Theory bobs to the forefront of our peoples’ minds, then the “would-be king rat”, 43, will be sunk!

03:45 PM - Bad news if Arnold wins.
If the GOP takes over the California governorship, it will help them immensely in the 04 presidential campaign. All of the analysts have jokingly mentioned that no one knows Arnold’s platform, but he is a huge favorite. With a GOP governor in California they have a huge boost in stealing all of those presidential electoral votes. What does California have, 54 votes? It is a sad day that this guy Issa, a Californian GOP politician , an operative inspired by Rove probably, can recall a guy who isn’t doing a bad job. To me, it is just a continuation of GOP tendencies. In 2000 they stole the presidential election. Then recently DeLay , isn’t his nick-name “the exterminator” gets into Texas local politics and tries to gain GOP seats via redistricting there. There were rumors that the Homeland Security Department was helping get the Texas Democrats. The GOP has no respect for the US citizens’ intelligence, or even interest in politics, and this California scam is just a logical outgrowth of that. Lee Atwater would be in awe of Rove. Months ago I was upset when CNN put Kissinger on, the night of Powell’s UN speech. I don’t think I’m wrong here. We have a dumbed-down populace and FOX will push Arnold. Moderate media, such as CNN, can’t joke about our disinterested citizens. They are responsible to bring fairness and accuracy to our citizens. User Journal

09:32 AM - 43's lies-- homeland security, 16 words and victories
What are the cards he is dealing you?

43’s trump card is the “everlasting war on terrorism”. "The administration wasn't matching its deeds to its words in the war on terrorism," Rand Beers, a former special assistant to the president, told the Washington Post in an interview published June 16th 2003. Beers is no Democratic operative as he worked at the National Security Council for 35 years, under presidents Ronald Reagan, George Bush and Bill Clinton. Beers, 60, had been the 43’s team main counter-terrorism advisor until his resignation in March of 2003.

A gambit he frequently uses is bluffing. He plays it like a high stakes gambler when he touts something to high heavens, secretly knowing it is a lemon.

Did you know that Senate Democrats are demanding that more homeland security money be added to the president's supplemental war budget? Democratic leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) said, "This supplemental budget fails to reflect the reality of the home front," said Daschle. "States, cities and towns remain extremely vulnerable to terrorist attack and are ill-equipped to deal with this challenge." "When it comes to this administration and homeland security, we don't need any more rhetoric, we don't need any more photo ops; we need more dollars," said Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

Another scam he is a master of is that of the magician’s misdirection ploy. At first glance, isn’t it great he admitted that he is responsible for what he said, the so-called 16 words? When did he confess, and was it a heart wrenching scene of contrition, or a political ploy for votes? Why did he wait until after three people in his administration alternately took the fall? What does it say about the “honor and dignity” of 43?

Rove picked the perfect timing to reduce the coverage of his dunce protégé’s treachery. On July 30th, as he is preparing to head to his ranch in Texas for a month starting on August 2nd, Rove told the boy that he had to act like a grownup. He had to be presidential and admit that he lied in his most important address to the US, and the world, his State of the Union speech. Beside, there were no more patsies to serve up as the fall guy. The ruse was beginning to look stupid for even our least interested citizens to swallow! By talking about it now, he hopes that the boy can be immunized against it when the election arrives.

43 looked like Houdini wriggling out of a locked cage as he finessed this perfidy. Bush rejected criticism that he had exaggerated the urgency of going to war with Iraq even as he took responsibility for the first time for an assertion in his State of the Union address about Iraq’s nuclear weapons program. As everyone knew, this particular story turned out to be based on questionable intelligence. “I take personal responsibility for everything I say, of course,” Bush said. “I also take responsibility for making decisions on war and peace. And I analyzed a thorough body of intelligence, good, solid, sound intelligence that led me to come to the conclusion that it was necessary to remove Saddam Hussein from power.”

Notice that even in that contrived spin he backs away from Hussein being an imminent threat, the deceit that no one in the world community, except for Tony Blair, would agree to. With this clever, contrived deception those who were dazzled by his trickery could think he was a good man, who tried his best for them. The rest of the world can’t tolerate this pile of horse manure he is trying to masquerade as the truth.

Devotees of games of chance cover up. Ray McGovern chaired NIEs and prepared/briefed the President's Daily Brief during his 27-year career at CIA. He is co-founder of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity. He writes, “Sifting through the congressional report on 9/11, I was reminded of the President's Daily Brief item of August 6, 2001 titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US."

Isn’t that title clear enough for 43, the self proclaimed “leader of the free world who doesn’t do nuance”? He continues, “Dana Priest of the Washington Post has learned that this PDB article stated "bin Laden had wanted to conduct attacks in the United States for years and that (his) group apparently maintained a support base here."

According to Priest, the PDB went on to cite "FBI judgments about patterns of activity consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks."

Just like one of his favorite role models, “Tricky Dick”, the current hypocritical president has cited executive privilege in refusing to declassify the PDB item. What happened to his “moral clarity”? I guess it only applies to specific situations.

This is a deck of cards READY TO TUMBLE.

Was Afghanistan just a ploy? He knew everyone would give him the benefit of the doubt there. Like a card shark setting up a bigger bet later on, he tried out his “Shock and Awe” first in Afghanistan. He bluffed with a pair of twos.

When the venture is this hazardous, when there is no other option, compulsive cheats tell outright lies. What about his great victory in Afghanistan? In an Afghan News Network article titled “US-led forces kill up to 24 people who attacked a coalition convoy”, of July 21, 2003, this quote about the dilemma in Afghanistan, “Some 19 months after the fall of the hardline Taliban regime, an 11,500 strong US-led coalition is pursuing members of the militia and its al-Qaeda allies who continue to launch attacks, mainly in the southeastern border region” clearly shows that 43 is lying about this alleged conquest.

Remember that 43’s team was telling us that the Iraqis would be welcoming us liberators? That seems like another bluff. I did a little research and found a typical estimate that 43’s team was pushing at that time. In this one, of February 9th, 2003, Newsweek’s article’s title, “Post-War Iraq Hope Would be to Withdraw Troops in 30-90 Days”, tells it all and just seems clearly silly!

For an opposing point of view, and also by skimming the title only, “The war in Iraq is just starting”, by Jon Carroll on August 7th, 2003 for the San Francisco Chronicle, seems closer to the truth. Here he tried his earlier con with a pair of twos again, but the world is prepared this time, and he’ll lose.

Like a poker faced bluffer, the arrogant 43 team has never divulged the estimated time or cost of the Iraq occupation to Congress. It would seem fair that they do so because Congress has to write the appropriation bills, but 43 is convinced that, since he is leader of the free world, he doesn’t have to get bogged down with details, nuances.

The current distraction of the purposeless Iraq incursion allowed the Taliban and al-Qaeda to reform. The Iraq debacle is detracting from 43’s “war on terrorism”, as every Democrat, and leaders of every foreign country, warned him! The way his group coerced its way to preemptively attack Iraq lost us all of our allies. Rumsfeld’s arrogant remarks about “Old Europe” and our “freedom fries” were indicative of the hubris of this regime.

Every experienced card shark knows he has to play his cards geared to who his opponent is. He can bluff most inattentive foes, but not the on the ball ones. In this case, if he knows his audience reads the Washington Post, and the LA or NY times, or even looks at foreign newspapers, then he gets nowhere with his pitches.

Luckily for 43, a majority of the US is bedazzled with Murdoch’s FOX and, the other arms of the GOP controlled media. On FOX you just know when he is campaigning for re-election, the choreographed scene, the ultimate Commander-in-Chief routine, will be everywhere. Never will FOX mention the number of our US boys and girls who gave their lives in the occupation of Iraq. The sickening irony of that May 1, 2003 photo opportunity, when he had the USS Abraham Lincoln emblazoned with the sign “Mission Accomplished” to declare victory over Iraq, is devastating. How could he dare make it clear to everyone that he was responsible for all praise regarding the Iraq war, and later spurt “bring em on” while our youth were dying?

Does he not necessarily have to be where the buck stops? It is a horrible place, a tangled web of deceit with human suffering as its result. It is too tasteless for the Democrats, but if the Republicans were in their spot, they would be keeping a running tally of all of our sons and daughters who have died since 43 declared victory in Iraq! The current warmongering GOP regime has not seen a military victory; it has only enraged the Islamic world against the “crusader” the US.

Mini-me 41, is the one who can play footsie with the “Southern strategy”, as long as he keeps the country petrified with his “everlasting war against terrorism”. All of the polls state that the great undecided swath of our voters, the working class heroes, trust 43 with matters of security. WHY? They are paying no attention and won’t until a few weeks before the election. At that time Rove’s boy will mouth a few transparent, poll-tested lies, and get enough of the not interested voters, to win again. As far as Rove is concerned, his pedigree boy, the slacker who spent most of his formative life in the blue-blood havens of Connecticut, yet absurdly speaks with a southern accent, is currently running unscathed with his recent duplicitous skirmishes with the truth.

His façade as “the straight talker” is his strength with the red state voters. As soon as they start contrasting the reality of 43’s failures with his duplicitous words about Homeland Security and the related “everlasting wars against terrorism”, then his tissue thin house of cards will tumble.
