Seit Wochen korrespondieren wir nun mit dem WDR, um die Hintergründe einer Spiegel-Meldung zu klären, wonach wir nicht mehr für den Sender arbeiten dürften. Während unser Film und auch das Buch "Operation 9/11" von Tag zu Tag mehr bestätigt werden, indem nun auch US-Kongressmitglieder eine Freigabe von geheimgehaltenen Dokumenten über denn 11.9. fordern, hat der WDR bis auf den heutigen Tag keine einleuchtende Begründung für diese Maßnahme geliefert. Der neuste Tiefpunkt der WDR-Erklärungen ist eine Stellungnahme gegenüber dem Internetdienst Telepolis. Dort (am 24.10.03) behauptete er allen Ernstes, wir hätten unseren Auftrag "nicht erfüllt". Ja, wir hätten "am eigentlichen Ziel vorbeigearbeitet".
Und das nach mehreren Abnahmen und Sichtungen, nach einer stolz anberaumten Pressekonferenz, nach der Ausstrahlung (am 20.6.03) sowie nach Prüfung und Absegnung des Rohmaterials!
